MEET YOUR COACH

MEET YOUR COACH

Hi, I’m Richard Harris, a coach, trainer, teacher, author, and minister with over 20 years of experience helping youth develop skills in sports and life.

I help struggling athletes develop skills, gain confidence, and have more fun so they can play better, play more, and play up.

Families that work with me:

  1. Have support from one who understands the challenges they face

  2. Receive guidance in developing habits to improve performance

  3. See their athletes do what they haven’t done before

  4. Shorten the learning and development curve for athletes regardless of skill level

I believe your athlete is skilled, talented, capable and that they can reach another level in spite of the challenges they have faced.

What if your athlete could:

  • Move away from being left out, underperforming, and overlooked

  • Have a framework for building their skills to get better and better

  • Identify and achieve their goals

  • Play with confidence

THEY CAN!

I am here to help them do that and more.

Richard Harris has always been passionate about sports, fitness, education, mental toughness and ministry. Over the past 20 years he has worked with athletes of all ages to get more out of life by encouraging personal development through sports and life skills development.

He has helped athletes increase their athletic and academic performance, physical fitness and overall well-being by providing coaching that is both challenging and creative.

Coach Harris, a graduate of Howard University, has a wide professional background having coached baseball from youth to the collegiate levels. He has taught in schools as a Physical Education and Business Education teacher.  He has experience working with Major League Baseball's Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program through DC RBI. He has also coordinated camps, clinics, and workshops for athletes, parents, and coaches. In addition to this, he has experience as a Youth Minister and is the author of several books.

All of these combined led to the creation of Get Ready 365, a movement that shares his passion for sports and development by offering resources that will improve performance, reduce stress effects, and elevate expectations.
